Not only does he offer bow and arrows as a gift to many, he also trains others. He expresses, “Gukgong not only allows you to control and discipline your mind, it allows you to take care of your health.” Chariman Kim says that Gukgoong teaches us an invaluable lesson to embrace gladly and there are very much alike. He further emphasizes, that the greatest thing about gukgoong is that, when you stand before the target, it allows your mind to focus and concentrate intensely. When your body, mind, and target become one, you truly forget about everything. It has been said that when Churchill, former UK Prime Minister, spent time drawing; he was able to forget about the politics and war of his time. Likewise, Gukgoong allows me to do the same. Chairman also shares about his energy business. He declares, “Since 2003, Daesung Group has been providing solar-wind energy system in Mongolia. We envision to be the leading group in providing renewable energy in the future.” Furthermore, in the city of Ulaanbaatar (300 Million㎡), Daesung Group is carrying out special projects to turn wasteland into healthy green-environment. “Our project aims to combat rapid desertification in Mongolia through the utilization of our solar-wind energy system. Through this system, we intend to produce electricity to pump up underground water to help create more greenery. If this project grows successful, it will become our world’s standard project model in fighting desertification. |
