FROM: The Energy Economic News [Source: The Energy Economic News] October 19, 2007 "Strengthening Investment and Pioneering New Fields in the Gas Industry" The 13th Gas Industry Conference was held at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul on October 18. In attendance were leaders of the Korean gas industry. The keynote speech was presented by Korea City Gas Association chairman, Mr. Younghoon David Kim (CEO: Daesung Group), who said that natural gas, given its cleanness and convenience, is an energy source necessary for environmental protection, that its growth potential will continue to increase. CEO Kim also emphasized that through sustained R&D, the development and distribution of gas-related tools and machinery must be realized.
