A13) Abstract: In discovering new growth areas of the future, the Daesung Group looks to expand the global economic arena. Renewable energy, organic farming, and leisure industry projects are currently underway in Mongolia, Australia, New Zealand, and like cities. With regard to foreign business projects, priority is placed on energy-related initiatives. Chairman Younghoon David Kim serves on the panel at the World Economic Forum (WEF) held annually in Davos, Switzerland and is widely known among businessmen nationwide for his activities in the global arena. He holds six formal global positions, including Vice Chairman of the World Energy Council (WEC) Asia-Pacific Region; committee member of the APEC Business Council (ABAC); Chairman of the Korea-Mongolia Economic Cooperation Committee; and committee member of the Korea-U.S. Business Council. |
