FROM: [Joongang Daily / Oct. 31] Energy meeting to examine alternatives, future - (p. 4) The Asia-Pacific regional session of the World Energy Council is held in Seoul to discuss future energy prospects and alternative energy sources. Younghoon David Kim, vice chairman of the Asia- Pacific division of the global organization and chairman of Daesung Group, said, "The Seoul meeting is to serve as a crucial role for energy experts to share views on the energy market trends. And it is hoped that Seoul would show the capability to host the World Energy Council in 2013." The World Energy Council is a non-profit organization with more than 100 member nations around the world. It has represented the energy industry at the United Nations. |
