Love Endures Forever

The Life Story of a Living Martyr, Kwi Ok Yeu,
the President of KWCTU and the Honorary Chairwomen of the Daesung Group


Mrs. Kwi Ok Yeu, lived as a living martyr for Jesus Christ. Humble and God-fearing, wise and holy, loving and victorious, were some attributes which defined her - all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.  As the wife of Mr. Soo Keun Kim, founding Chairman of Daesung Group, a leading energy conglomerate in Korea, Mrs. Yeu lived a modest life, devoting herself to prayer, sharing the Gospel and service to the Church.  Her active role as the president of the Korea Women’s Christian Temperance Union (KWCTU) set a milestone in promoting the temperance movement (smoke-free, alcohol-free, and drug-free lifestyle) throughout South Korea.

To commemorate the life of Mrs. Kwi Ok Yeu, her four children joined hands to produce a documentary film, Love Endures Forever.  The film recollects on Mrs. Yeu’s lifetime work as an ambassador for Christ, and depicts a beautiful story of love and faithfulness.  It is through this documentary film the producers wish to share the love of Jesus Christ
