FROM: Younghoon David Kim, WEC Regional Vice Chair, “Never fail to host WEC Congress to Daegu” - Younghoon David Kim arrives in Mexico City on November 3 to attend the WEC Executive Assembly - The meeting will be at fever pitch in the days leading up to the selection of the 2013 WEC Congress’venue Daesung Group chairman Younghoon David Kim, WEC Regional Vice Chair for Asia-Pacific South Asia, will be arriving in Mexico on November 2nd (3rd, Korean time) to participate in the WEC Executive Assembly and will spare no efforts to host the 2013 WEC Congress to Daegu, South Korea. The meeting will be held on November 3 to 7 for 5 days in Mexico City and the winning candidate of 2013 WEC Congress will be decided by voting. Daegu (South Korea), Durban (South Africa) and Copenhagen (Denmark) are competing to host it. Chair Kim who is a big shot in the WEC organization as also a Korean will be involved the omnidirectional activities lobbying WEC member committees. It could give traction to last ditch efforts to host the 2013 WEC Congress to Daegu. Kim has been working on Daegu’s bid through all his WEC activities since he was elected as a WEC regional vice-chair. Meanwhile, chair Kim will be back to Korea on November 10 after the closing of the WEC Executive Assembly. Once Daegu is selected as a venue of the 2013 WEC Congress, he will organize a news conference to introduce the WEC Congress in depth such as its background information and meaning. |
