Daesung Group hosts ‘Concert of Love',
the 15th year of its annual charitable event

Daesung Group (Chairman Younghoon David Kim), a total energy solution provider, hosted the 'Concert of Love 2017' at the New Millennium Hall of Konkuk University on December 27th, 2017.  In its 15th year, this is an annual event at which Daesung Group employees share love and support with underprivileged children.

700 children from Seoul and Daegu attended the event. In the first half, the kids became the stars. Children from six local community centers gave a selection of performances, including a choir and on musical instruments, which received warm applause. The second half featured a children’s musical performance entitled ‘A Child Carrying a Bag’ based on a best-selling fairy tale, which sold over a million copies. In addition to the touching story of friendship between a disabled child and his friends, an ensemble accompanied the performers who performed lively singing and dancing.  The children all had a great time.

Besides the performance, the children took part in various events such as photo shoot with Daesung Group employees dressed as Santa Claus, face painting and balloon art during the pre-event session. At the end of the event, children participated in a quiz, and Daesung Group delivered gifts sharing a warm and loving evening together.

Chairman Younghoon Kim said, “The ‘Concert of Love’ that Daesung Group organizes for children at the end of each year is a time for thankfulness and reflection. In line with Daesung Group’s motto: ‘Warming bodies, Warming hearts’, I hope that this evening will remain an unforgettable memory for the children. "

Daesung Group’s ‘Concert of Love’ was first held in 2003 and has offered a variety of cultural performances such as musicals, theater and ballet for underprivileged children every year while delivering a message of dreams and hope.
